Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Today is a perfect day to share with you The Hudson Cakery's first official dessert table I created this past weekend.
(Yes, we've hopped on the dessert table bandwagon. And it's a fun ride!)
The theme was Key to My Heart featuring chocolate brown damask, ivory, pink and bronze hues.
Take a look....
Our stuffed Vanilla "Cupid" Cupcakes were wrapped with pink cupcake wrappers and topped with key 'n heart cupcake toppers.
The chocolate cake on top of the cupcake stand had bronze and pink hearts piped along the side.
I found old skeleton keys at The Brooklyn Flea last summer
and painted them shimmery bronze to hang from the table.

Lock n' Key Sugar cookies were decorated to look like vintage key locks.
The skeleton keys are made from sugar too!
We made Lemon "Meringue Kisses", "Passion Cake Pops" and "Made with Love 'Mallows." Homemade marshmallows are a personal favorite of mine - especially when they are pink!
Our mini cupid cupcakes were topped with sugar bronze hearts.
What do you think of our first dessert table??
Hope you have a SWEET day!

ReplyDeleteJenn, just when I think you have created a masterpiece, you go and do one even better. The imagination and skill this took is just fantastic. And I know everything was yummy as well as beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLOVE it!!! I really love the 'lock & key' heart cookies! Very clever -- and I love Life On Paper's designs -- what a great team you two make!
