I swear 2009 was the year of the Moon Baby Shower Cake. I had tons of requests for them.
The celestial theme has been around for years when it comes to children parties/events but I feel like the trend picked up speed over the last year or two. It's everywhere!
Baby Shower Invitations!
Party Store Decorations!
Nursery Rhymes!
Ok maybe that last one just helped inspire the theme but still....everywhere!
It's a great theme though, especially for gender neutral baby showers.
Here's a photo of a little guy we made out of gumpaste for one celestial cake. He's almost too cute to eat!
And this one was adorable too - sitting on Buttercream Clouds!
Can't wait to see what the Baby Theme will be for 2010!
